Labor Day Weekend marks the official launch of the Washington State Catholic Conference’s educational program on end of life issues, including assisted suicide. Initiative 1000, which would legalize assisted suicide, is on this November’s ballot. I-1000 is contrary to Catholic teaching and places vulnerable people at risk.

Educational materials on end of life and I-1000 have been sent to the parishes.  These include two DVDs, two brochures, a set of 4 color posters, and prayer cards.  Many items are available in Spanish or other languages and can be ordered by parishes using the form included in their mailing.
